By the end of this session, participants will be able to...: Understand the various mediums available to use during an emergency situation and determine the best mediums for their district/campus.

Learn about the pros and cons of each emergency communication medium and how using a combination of communication mediums during an emergency will best serve your entire district's needs. The session will also cover effective communication mediums between site safety teams, teachers/staff, district command center and law enforcement during emergencies. Parent communication mediums will also be discussed to determine best ways to alert parents within your district during an emergency or reunification.
